ABOUT US
The Adur Special Needs Project is a local (Sussex) registered charity committed to providing out-of-school respite and recreational activities for young people with special needs aged from 5 years. At present ASP provides fortnightly weekend respite, a four week summer scheme, a weekly interactive youth club, a weekly club for young people and young adults aged 13+ and a weekly club for adults aged 18 and over. ASP has professional staff that provides a safe, friendly and fun atmosphere where young people are encouraged to play, mix socially and participate in fun activities. A number of Volunteer Helper Partners aged 13 and over, give up their time to help with the young people. They Provide a valuable service and, while the work is not easy it can be very rewarding. More volunteers are always welcome.
